01 / Nonfiction ghostwriting

A book only
you could write.
With a little help.

You have the insight. I help you develop a clear structure and engaging language that hold your reader’s attention from the first page to the last.

Perhaps you’ve spent years developing your expertise. Perhaps you have a perspective that deserves a wider audience, or a life experience that could help someone else. You don’t need a finished outline to begin.

Through thoughtful conversations, research and close collaboration, I develop a manuscript rooted in your voice. You remain the author, with full credit and ownership of your book.

How I work ↗

For ideas that deserve more than a passing mention.

My focus spans thought leadership, philosophy, the humanities and ideas that invite deeper thinking. I help authors explore substantial questions and express their insights in clear, engaging nonfiction.

04 / The collaboration

From the first conversation
to the final manuscript.

01 / DISCOVER

Find the heart of the book.

I explore your ideas, your audience and your aims with you, then outline the scope, timeline and structure for your approval.

Bring your voice to the page.

Conversations, source material and research become a developing manuscript. You review the work as it grows, with space for discussion and refinement.

03 / REFINE

Make every chapter count.

I revisit the structure, strengthen the narrative and polish the language, bringing the manuscript into a coherent whole.

I’m Wendi Jane Ellis: a ghostwriter, author and editor with more than 30 years of writing and language expertise.

As a qualified English teacher and Philosophy graduate, I bring curiosity, careful listening and a lifelong love of books to every collaboration.

I’ve ghostwritten more than 30 published books, including titles that reached the Sunday Times bestseller list. My work brings together nonfiction, thought leadership, big-think ideas, and prescriptive memoirs for authors around the world.

After studying and working in the UK, I spent 20 years in Athens teaching English. I now write from a quiet corner of the Peloponnese, with the sea, the sky and my dog Mira for company.
